Mrs. Judy Annette Haynes Forsyth, of Ranburne, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2010. She was 61 years old. Mrs. Forsyth was born on June 16, 1948 in Cullman, Alabama to Harlton Seth and Gracie Mae Haynes. She was a homemaker and a member of Crumley’s Chapel Church of God. She was a loving mother and grandmother whose desire in life was to be a blessing to others. She was preceded in death by her father, Harlton Seth Haynes, and her nephews, Nick Santiago and Chad Clements.

Clarence “River Rat” Marshall Thompson, 59, died Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at his residence. Funeral service for Mr. Thompson were February 5, 2010, at Antioch Methodist Church with the Rev. Donald Leggett and the Rev. Mac Prichard officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Kenneth Gibbs, Joel Chupp, Michael Chupp, Marion Hurston, Tony Haney, and Tim Boyd.

Mrs. Virginia Skinner Butler, age 83, of 15818 Hwy 78, Fruithurst, AL passed away January 31, 2010. Mrs. Butler was born December 20, 1926 to the late Lloyd E. and Clara Cantrell Skinner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George R. Butler; daughters, Geneva Masters, Clara Taylor and Patricia Bowen; also six grandchildren; one great-grandchild and six brothers.
